[OFBiz] Users - MARKETING_PACKAGE / GZ-KIT

The ofbiz demo ecommerce application has a sample item GZ-KIT, which is
described as a "Pre-Assembled Gizmo Kit". It has products associated with
it, and the associationType is of type MARKETING_PACKAGE.

Is this associationType actually used by ofbiz? In other words, can you
"assemble" a GZ-KIT? Or is this for a future implementation?

No, not at this point.  You might want to set it up as a manufacturing
BOM and just use a production run to assemble it.  There are some videos
that show how to do it:
