Hello,
Hope you all are doing well. I am studying OFBiz POS for tender facilities. Found it very interesting. I want to know how OFBiz manages void and post-void functionalities, the terminologies it uses for these functionalities and while tender how it affects the system. Would be very helpful if anyone could share his/her knowledge. *Thanks & Regards*, *Tarun Singh Thakur *| Business Developer Mobile: +91-8826544218 www.karyonsolutions.com | Building Dreams With Hearts |

Hello Jacques,
Thanks for your response. I am using Trunk which in my knowledge is the latest version and its webpos component. I can't find void and post void functions so need to know if there is any other term used in OFBiz for them. Thanks! Hii Tarun,
I think void and post void functionalities means canceling or deleting any transaction. Am I right? Jacques, you don't know terms void and post-void or you don't have idea
about them in OFBiz POS. I can explain my question if you didn't get it and thanks for your efforts. Renuka Srishti suggested it could be
/void and post void functionalities means canceling or deleting any transaction. /Right?/Jacques / Le 18/08/2017 à 11:22, Tarun Thakur a écrit : > Jacques, you don't know terms void and post-void or you don't have idea > about them in OFBiz POS. > > I can explain my question if you didn't get it and thanks for your efforts. > > > On 18 Aug 2017 2:37 p.m., "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> > wrote: > > Le 18/08/2017 à 10:22, Tarun Thakur a écrit : > >> void and post-void functionalities >> > Sorry Tarun > > I have no ideas what these are > > Jacques > |

Hello Renuka,
Thank you for your effort. Not exactly but yeah could say in other way. Let me explain them with a real life scenario: Void- Suppose in a mall customer picks 5 items and went to cashier for tender. Cashier adds them for tender and at the time of tender authorization customer want more item to purchase but not cancel the current order. For that cashier suspends the order and performs a void transaction so that it could be fetched later on. Post Void- Whenever an item is returned on the same day of tender then in such case that transaction is marked as post void but not return. Hope this help you to better understand my problem and in providing solution to me. Thanks! Hi Tarun,
I asked you about the OFBiz version because prior to 2016 there was also a POS (JavaPOS) component in OFBiz. It has been deprecated in favor of webpos. In the POS the void feature existed but not the post void. I don't know for the webpos Jacques Le 18/08/2017 à 11:32, Tarun Thakur a écrit : > Hello Renuka, > > Thank you for your effort.
