BTW I notice that http://www.ofbiz.fr/ has no << prominent disclaimer that states the site is not associated with the Apache
Software Foundation>> I will ask for that too (Hopefully one person in Neogia team will see this message before I have to sent one to them :o) I put something like that in http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Alternative+Demo+Servers. Not sure it's enough though since my demo instances can be accessed trough other channels, notably my own site. I will take care of that too. Jacques,
it seems to me that www.ofbiz.fr is not running an own OFBiz demo instance but it directs to the HotWaxMedia one. -Bruno 2009/3/4 Jacques Le Roux <[hidden email]>: > BTW I notice that http://www.ofbiz.fr/ has no << prominent disclaimer that > states the site is not associated with the Apache > Software Foundation>> I will ask for that too (Hopefully one person in > Neogia team will see this message before I have to sent one to them :o) > I put something like that in > http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Alternative+Demo+Servers. Bruno,
Do you mean those instances are running on a Contegix server (I don't think so) ? Else, you can acces www.ofbiz.fr or www.ofbiz.it directly from passing through OFBiz official site, isn'it ? Hence Ted's "recommendations" (actually it's legal stuff) below apply Jacques From: "Bruno Busco" <[hidden email]> > Jacques, > it seems to me that www.ofbiz.fr is not running an own OFBiz demo > instance but it directs to the HotWaxMedia one. > -Bruno > > 2009/3/4 Jacques Le Roux <[hidden email]>: >> BTW I notice that http://www.ofbiz.fr/ has no << prominent disclaimer that >> states the site is not associated with the Apache >> Software Foundation>> I will ask for that too (Hopefully one person in >> Neogia team will see this message before I have to sent one to them :o) >> I put something like that in >> http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Alternative+Demo+Servers. Jacques,
I only meant that: - on www.ofbiz.there seems to be a deployed ofbiz you can reach here: https://www.ofbiz.it/catalog/control/main (only missing the "ant svninfo" to be sure of what release it is running) - on www.ofbiz.fr I cannot reach any running demo (https://www.ofbiz.fr/catalog/control/main does not work) -Bruno 2009/3/4 Jacques Le Roux <[hidden email]>: > Bruno, > > Do you mean those instances are running on a Contegix server (I don't think > so) ? > Else, you can acces www.ofbiz.fr or www.ofbiz.it directly from passing > through OFBiz official site, isn'it ? Yes you are right Bruno (and I was in my 1st approach) : www.ofbiz.fr does not need any amendements, it's already OK.
I remember now having told them that already (hence they use the right logo : "powered by") So only Marco needs to clean things a bit and to replace logos Thanks Jacques From: "Bruno Busco" <[hidden email]> > Jacques, > I only meant that: > - on www.ofbiz.there seems to be a deployed ofbiz you can reach here: > https://www.ofbiz.it/catalog/control/main > (only missing the "ant svninfo" to be sure of what release it is running) > - on www.ofbiz.fr I cannot reach any running demo > (https://www.ofbiz.fr/catalog/control/main does not work) > > -Bruno > > 2009/3/4 Jacques Le Roux <[hidden email]>: >> Bruno, >> >> Do you mean those instances are running on a Contegix server (I don't think >> so) ? >> Else, you can acces www.ofbiz.fr or www.ofbiz.it directly from passing >> through OFBiz official site, isn'it ? Ciao Bruno,
I have updated the www.ofbiz.it site and run ant svninfo and now the actual OFBiz revision in use is visible on the footer. Great!
I think you should add a link to your demo server here: http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Alternative+Demo+Servers don't you? -Bruno 2009/3/4 [hidden email] <[hidden email]>: > Ciao Bruno, > > I have updated the www.ofbiz.it site and run ant svninfo and now the actual > OFBiz revision in use is visible on the footer. > > Grazie > Marco > > Il giorno 03/mar/09, alle ore 23:12, Bruno Busco ha scritto: > >> This demo site actually works well >> https://www.ofbiz.it/catalog/control/main >> >> The only thing missing is the "ant svninfo". >> >> Could you please give a look Marco? >> >> Thank you, >> -Bruno >> >> 2009/3/3 Tim Ruppert <[hidden email]>: >>> >>> They're doing a full reload and seeing if that will fix the svn info >>> issues. Yes, this would be a good thing indeed, but please Marco take care of Ted's remarks
