OFBiz upgrade guidelines : Post 16.11

Hi All,
          Is there any recommendation or some guidelines for upgrading ofbiz. We are using the latest release version 16.11. I tried looking through the user and developer mailing list and couldnt find anything that outlines the steps or the effort.

Please point me a thread/descussion or some documentation that outlines the upgrade approach.

If you respect the separation framework / plugins the migration is easy,
you can the data model modification here
