OFBiz worldwide community

Jacopo Cappellato
Hi all,

you may find interesting the following visual representation of the
geographical diversity of the OFBiz committers group:

http://people.apache.org/map.html?project=Apache%20OFBiz

Each flag represents one of the committers in this list (even if
unfortunately some of the flags overlap each other):

http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/9QI

Of course the OFBiz committers group is just the head of the iceberg,
but, as you can notice by the flags in the above map, it is a really
good representation of the diversity of the whole community.

Amazing,

Jacopo

Yes,

it is hidden by Vikas, you see him if you zoom a lot
Also David Welton is hidden by me :-(

Is it an error? I just thought you were a really eccentric guy ;-)

For the record: at the bottom of this page:

http://people.apache.org/foaf/index.html

I've updated the section "How to help develop the site?" so that,
following the notes in it, it should be relatively easy to build the map
in a local sandbox; it is an easy way to test the geo coordinates
(instead of committing the changes, waiting for a few hours to get them
published and hope they are correct).

Cheers,

Jacopo
