Hello,
I have inventory items that are shown when I perform the following Facility->InventoryItems-Find. I can see the list of Inventory Items. Now, I go to the "Physical Inventory" and search by ProductId, I will not see any results returned. Any ideas? Regards -Aswath |
It will show up only if atp is more than 0.

Hello Abhai,
ATP is more than 0 for the product. I click on the "Inventory" and search by product. I get ATP as '4' for the product. Then, I go to the physicalInventory, the results are 0. -Aswath On Mon, Jan 10, 2011 at 8:17 PM, Abhai Chaudhary < [hidden email]> wrote: > It will show up only if atp is more than 0. > > Regards, > -Abhai > > ----- Reply message ----- > From: "aswath satrasala" <[hidden email]> > Date: Mon, Jan 10, 2011 1:32 am > Subject: Physical inventory - not showing > To: "[hidden email]" <[hidden email]> > > Hello, > I have inventory items that are shown when I perform the following > Facility->InventoryItems-Find. > I can see the list of Inventory Items. > > Now, I go to the "Physical Inventory" and search by ProductId, I will not > see any results returned. > > Any ideas? > > Regards > -Aswath > > ________________________________ > > http://www.mindtree.com/email/disclaimer.html > |
Further investigation in 'FindFacilityPhysicalInventory.groovy.'
In order for the item to show in the Physical Inventory, the inventoryitemtype of product should be 'Non-Serialized' -Aswath On Tue, Jan 11, 2011 at 10:54 AM, aswath satrasala < [hidden email]> wrote: > Hello Abhai, > ATP is more than 0 for the product. > > I click on the "Inventory" and search by product. Good find, unfortunately I never used a serialized inventory. This means you have ATP 4 available for same product ID, your InventoryItem table will have min four entries (Because it is Serialized) where ATP=1 Can someone explain why shouldn't this inventory show in Physical Inventory?

Hi,
On the demo server, I did the following * I verified there was inventory for ProductId = GZ-2002. * Trying to add the InventoryItem for ProductId = GZ-2002. * Facility->InventoryItems->NewInventoryItem. * ProductId = GZ-2002, InventoryType=Serialized. * Then click on update. Then I go the PhysicalInventory Do the Find based on ProductId=GZ-2002. No results are retrieved My Conclusion: In order to show up in the Physical Inventory, atleast one of the InventoryItem should be 'Non-Serialized' for the given ProductId, then it shows up in the PhysicalInventory list. -Aswath On Tue, Jan 11, 2011 at 1:33 PM, Jacques Le Roux < [hidden email]> wrote: > Coul you reproduce this on the trunk demo? > Then we will be able to help you more seriously > > Jacques > > > aswath satrasala wrote: > >> Hello Abhai, >> ATP is more than 0 for the product. >> >> I click on the "Inventory" and search by product. Small typo in my previous email...
* * I verified there was no inventoryitem for ProductId = GZ-2002.
