Would it not have been better to announce it a few day in advance to the
meeting than just on the actual day?

So that people can plan for this, and that more people can attend and
participate?

I would agree with Pierre - it had been pure luck for me to find this in
the Mailbox in time to join.
Also, would appreciate to have some visuals (possibly shared upfront?) with
the presentation / meeting. I mean not a full fletched slide deck, but at
least a confluence page with scribbled stuff on it, maybe some hints
towards the tech stack etc.

With the experience made yesterday, I'd rather stay away next time if the
topic would not be of such burning interest honestly.
