GL is very commonly used term around the world for General Ledger.
IMO for now we are fine with the option GoogleCo as there might be some
other integration from google in future.
So think like Google as the common Prefix for all the integration with
Google and then add the Software name that has been integrated.
Suppose in future we have planned to do integration with two projects like
Android(
http://developer.android.com/) & OpenSocial(
http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial/).
So the name based on the existing pattern will be GoogleAndroid & GoogleOs
or GoogleOpenSocial as a prefix.
Now think about the idea that you have proposed:
The derived prefix will be Ga & Gos, which does not make any sense IMO.
Think about it and please let me know your thoughts on this.
