Hi All
I know that the July time limit is still a couple of months away but I wanted to make sure this is raised early as it is published on our current website downloads page: <http://ofbiz.apache.org/download.html> * *Special Notice Regarding Branches 14.12 and 15.12:* The branches 14.12 and 15.12 contain the complete codebase including the specialpurpose components and will remain as unreleased branches so will be accessible for developers and service providers to support their client base * The project has changed the build system from Apache Ant to Gradle, but this change will not affect branches 14.12 or 15.12; the new build system is available since the 16.11.* series. * Branches 14.12 and 15.12 will be supported*until July 2017 *and during this period bug fixes will be backported to them Do we have any outstanding issues, bug fixes, etc that need to be backported to any of these branches? Thanks Sharan |
Hi Sharan,
I'm not aware of any issues. Normally, they are backported together with the fix, but it could be that a committer decided not to do it because of complexity. That raises an idea: we maybe should look for a way to mark issues for backports which could not be done immediately so that we don't forget them. Using a label? (because it's the easier way) But do we really need that?
