Last time I checked, free and open source solutions are cheaper than cheap proprietary solutions. With that being said, you have multiple options for reporting in OFBiz:
- you can use apache FOP which is the default standard reporting tool
- you can go with BIRT, a component exists in specialpurpose in trunk
- you can integrate other solutions including Pentaho and Jasper
