Returns of type "Replacement"

Jacopo Cappellato
Hi all,

what is the current status of the returns of type "replacement"; I did
some tests over the weekend and it seems that they are already
implemented: in fact when the return is approved a new (replacement)
order is automatically created and approved.
However there are some problem (I think) since there are no roles
associated to the new order and this causes a few problems here and
there (e.g. the triggered service "updateContentSubscriptionByOrder"
returns an error message, so I've disabled that trigger, but also the
order detail screen seems broken).
Am I missing something?
What is the current status of replace returns?

Thanks,

Jacopo

Good question... Si might know more about this. My guess is that this
was implemented a long time ago, with a few flaws or missing things
that should have been there, and it just hasn't been maintained much
over time.

It sounds like it at least needs to have the roles created and such,
and I can't think of any problem that might come up with that.

Yeah, it seems like most of it was implemented a long time ago but
has not been kept up to date with current (as in with last two years)
versions of OFBiz, so it just needs to be debugged and brought up to
date.
