Re: Running OFBiz in Tomcat, without embedded container

Hi Jonathon

A while back you asked something along the lines "Is there an easier way
to run multiple instances of OFBiz."

Thinking out of the box...  or actually in a box in the box, there is.

I think virtual servers are a much easier way to duplicate OFBiz
instances... VmWare, Xen, Solaris and numerous other solutions exist to
run multiple instances.

The catch, of course, is resources. With a virtual server you're not
just duplicating the app, but the app, java's vm, and the OS.  But it is
easier.

I've been spending the last few weeks getting my business running on
virtual machines, and can provide an instance for anyone who's looking
to give it a go.
