It depends on your goals whether to use the sauna before or after a workout. Yet, most people gain more benefits from using it afterward. Sitting in the sauna before exercising can warm up your muscles and help you relax. But it can also lead to dehydration or fatigue, which may hurt your performance.

Using the sauna after your workout can relax sore muscles and improve circulation. It also supports recovery and gives you time to unwind. If you choose to use it post-workout, be sure to rehydrate and cool down first so your body transitions safely.
