The future of ofbiz cms

Bruno Wegmüller
Hi Guys,

I'm interested about the state of the ofbiz cms and the plans for the
future development in this topic. After reading the mailing lists
concernig ofbiz cms i think there is still a wish for inproving the cms
component. We realized some projects with ofbiz and think about the idea
to improve the cms component. Maybe we can share our effort with the
community.

But there are some open questions:
There is a jackrabbit branch. Is this branch still "active"? Is it still
planned to integrate this branch with the trunk. Or do you rather prefer
to use the actual data model and only improve the GUI of the CMS Backend?

Kind regards!
Bruno

http://www.meta64.com/ is a new open source CMS based on Jackrabbit Oak
,Spring, MongoDb and Tomcat.

It seems to be a new project that needs some work.

I was recently focused on OFBiz security, but an accident mid December stopped me, and still for few more weeks.
After that I'd be interested about looking a the OFBiz CMS. There is no plan to integrate the Jackrabbit branch but that could be considered with some
efforts. We could also improve the OFBiz CMS, because AFAIK we can have both.
