Hi Todd

Definitely.  The book is written for ‘OFBiz newbies’ and makes no assumptions about what you already know.  It gives you all the steps involved in setting up Manufacturing & MRP and also includes a complete beginners’ tutorial.

Although the focus is Manufacturing it does include and explain the functionality links with Catalog Manager (for Product Setup) and Order Manager (for ordering Raw Materials from Suppliers) and Facility Manager (for booking Raw Materials and Manufactured Product into Stock).

You can get a preview of the first few pages of the book by clicking the ‘Preview’ link under the book icon – the preview includes the contents list and a summary description of what is included in each of the chapters.

Catalog Manager' about getting started with the catalog manager (product
definitions) by Ruth Hoffman.
