Users - How to Commit my code

G.Venkata Phanindra
Hi..
I am working on Customization of ofbiz for my own ecommerce sites and i was able to fix few problems we have with forums and also with the User Interface with IE etc.. I was also able to fix my last problem of migrating from one Data Base to other using the Webtools Import and Export from and to XML .......
If i want to add all these changes to ofbiz how can i do it... do i need to get registed ????????
     Give me guidelines for this.

regards
Phani

Phani,

The best way is to create a patch for the code and add an issue on jira.ofbiz.org stating the problem and solution.

Exactly.

And also download, sign and post to the Apache Software Foundation the iCLA:

http://www.apache.org/licenses/icla.txt

This is now needed in order for us to accept new contributions.

Thanks,

Jacopo

Re: Users - How to Commit my code

Jacopo Cappellato
Well,

first of all create a patch file (using the "svn diff" command); then go
to http://jira.ofbiz.org and create a new account (if you are not still
registered); finally create a new Jira issue, and attach the patch to it.

That's all,

Jacopo

Phani,

sorry, maybe I've totally missed the meaning of your question!

Are you asking me to which postal address you have to send the iCLA?

If so, the address is in the iCLA itself: read it carefully and
everything should be clear... if not, do not exitate to contact me.

Jacopo
