Users - create an order from a quote.

I looked through the system but could not find this facility to create an
order from a quote.

anybody have any plans in this direction or thoughts about it? Or is there a
good reason it is missing?

A similar step is to add a button to the invoice screen (service exists), to
create an invoice from an order...or create a quote from a request...(service
exists)

Where have you looked so far? This functionality does exist, in fact in both ecommerce and the order manager.

Hi Hans,

in the "view request subscreen" there is a link "create quote" that
automatically creates a quote from the request;

in the "view quote subscreen" there is a link "create order" that
automatically initializes a cart from the quote; the link is disabled if
the quote's status is "created" (change it to "approved" to activate it).
