Using Gradle ‘application’ and ‘distribution’ plugins

Mathieu Lirzin
Hello,

I have opened the OFBIZ-10866 ticket [1] regarding the use of the
‘application’ and ‘distribution’ Gradle plugins in the build.  The
motivation is both to embrace Gradle idioms for launching OFBiz and
solve the packaging problem in a common way. More details are available
in the description of that ticket.

For anybody trying to deploy recent OFBiz releases in production I
recommend checking out the distribution plugin which is really
convenient since it solves the issue of running OFBiz on a target
environment in a declarative and testable manner without requiring
Gradle on the target or a convoluted/brittle shell script.

If nobody disagree I will commit this in a week.

Thanks.
