Hi all,
I've imported a data xml file through the webtools interface and the import succeeded. I then generated keywords by clicking on the generate keywords button. I can pull each item up in product maintenance by keyword, but I can't pull them up in the ecommerce search until I click on the update button for the item in item maintenance. Then, magically, they start to appear on the website.... Any ideas? Do I need to run a product update routine on each imported item. Or, hopefully, is there a step that I'm missing? Thanks Rick |
Have you tried clearing your cache?

Chris, thanks for the reply
I cleared the cache to no avail. I also shut the container down and restarted, still nothing. Do you know which entities are updated when the "update" button is clicked? I've ordered the docs but I'm too impatient to wait. Chris,
I found the problem... "is_virtual" and "is_variant" must be set to something other than null. Apparently, when you click the "update" button, these are set to "N". As soon as I manually changed them in the database, the products started to pull up on the ecommerce site.
