It seems like there are a few that don't make it over to the exported .html pages... I've actually made a habit (perhaps bad?) of going directly to the original confluence pages instead of the exported .html ones, partly for this reason.

Hi all,

Is there a more general issue with the wiki?

Compare https://cwiki.apache.org/OFBIZ/ and https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/Home .

They seem to have been generated from the same wiki markup, but the former doesn't have the tree of child pages and the UI isn't as pretty.

Is it the result of an earlier version of Confluence? Are the confluence/display/ layers really necessary in every URL? Should the link from http://ofbiz.apache.org refer to former or the latter?

The former link is the .html file generated from the Confluence page, and not the actual cwiki page. You're absolutely correct that the generated .html file is not nearly as good.

For server resource reasons it is ASF policy that we have to link to those from the ofbiz.apache.org web site (instead of the original, dynamic cwiki pages like we used to link to), so there isn't much we can do about it.

Yes, I do the same despite infra team recommendation. At least I get what I want. I'm just afraid that one day they decide to remove
Conflucence :/
