You Really Should Have A Look At BigFish

Adrian Crum-3
I just spent a few hours with Nick Rosser over at Solveda
(www.solveda.com) and he gave me a demonstration of their BigFish
product. They have done an amazing job of making OFBiz eCommerce easy to
set up and to use.

Before meeting Nick, I went to the demo site and poked around a bit, but
there was no way I could grasp its enormous potential on my own. Nick's
demonstration really made a difference! I hope he can post videos soon
so others can appreciate what they've accomplished.

Adrian: it was a pleasure meeting you -- thanks for allowing me to show
you BigFish!

A dedicated site is setup for bigFish at http://bigfish.solveda.com.

We will have a new release this week -- it's been a very busy time since
our last release (I'm embarrassed to say it's been over 6 months!). But
worth waiting for :-) Really just a heads-up to wait a few more days if
you were looking to download and check it out.

And I'm taking Adrian's advice to heart and we'll get to making some
videos over the next 1-2 months to make it easier to digest all the
feature / functions  and get folks up-and-running a lot quicker.

In reply to this post by Adrian Crum-3
After meeting with Adrian Crum, I've had this as a task for a while now
-- finally got around to putting some videos together.

Check out: http://bigfish.solveda.com/bfFeatures.html

This is the first set of videos -- I'll be working through other more
advanced concepts over the next couple of weeks.

Questions welcome. Comments and thoughts especially welcome, I'm very
interested in any feedback that you may have, good or bad!

Hey Nick.  These are great videos (I watched all of them).  Simply amazing
the great work your team as done and very generous by giving the work back
to the ofbiz community.  Much appreciated!  It would be great if the main
ofbiz site referenced your demos as well as the default demo.

Nick Rosser-2
Mike,

Thanks for watching! Not easy for us to put these together but I think it's worth the effort.

I'm traveling this week but I plan to have a video showing how to setup a simple product catalog. It could be very cool to take a basic out  of the box seed implementation, load up a couple of products and have a full functional ecommerce site! More soon ...

Best regards,

Nick Rosser

You could create a page in the wiki for that
