attendance functionality

Hi everyone,

I am working with HR module & looking for employee attendance
functionality in OFBiz version 13.07.03 .

So, is there any plan to add it in future ?

Welcome!

What do you mean by employee attendance functionality? If it is something related to recording employee time (e.g. timesheets) then something already exists in the specialpurpose applications - MyPortal and Project Manager.

Hi Sharan and Nikhil,

I think Nikhil is looking specifically for the punch-in punch-out
functionality that exists in other HR solutions which is a nice feature to
add. Sometimes it is integrated with punchcard or fingerprint scanners.

Someone created an OFBiz based HCM system a while ago (I think it is
abandoned) in here -> https://sourceforge.net/projects/o-hcm/ I believe the
system is able to do these processes among other things.

It would be a good idea to reuse whatever we can from it to introduce this
functionality.
