To convert Windows Live Mail (WLM) to Outlook manually, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Export Emails from Windows Live Mail
Open Windows Live Mail on your computer and follow these steps to export your emails:
In Windows Live Mail, click on the "File" tab.
Select "Export" and then choose "Email Messages."
Select "Microsoft Exchange" as the export format and click "Next."
Choose the folders you want to export (e.g., Inbox, Sent Items, etc.) or select the option to export all folders.
Click "Next" and select the location where you want to save the exported messages.
Click "Finish" to begin the export process. Windows Live Mail will export your emails to the Microsoft Exchange format.
Step 2: Import Emails to Outlook
Now that you have exported your emails in the Microsoft Exchange format, you can import them into Outlook. Follow these steps:
Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
Go to the "File" tab and select "Open & Export" > "Import/Export."
In the Import and Export Wizard, choose "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."
Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)" as the file type to import and click "Next."
Click on the "Browse" button to locate the exported file from Windows Live Mail.
Select the file and choose the option "Replace duplicates with items imported" or any other desired option.
Select the folder where you want to import the emails (e.g., Inbox, Sent Items, etc.) or choose to import them into a new folder.
Click "Finish" to start the import process. Outlook will import the emails from the Microsoft Exchange format and place them in the selected folder.
