how to get Browse Categories in demo site

i am new to Ofbiz. i searched three days but i didn't get how to get Browse Categories from database.Browse Categories where it stores in database table name. and please explain the

ofbiz/specialpurpose/ecommerce/webapp/ecommerce/catalog/sidedeepcategory.ftl

i don't know flt language and Groovy
