how to increase cart cookies

Hi All,

       I have tested with an item adding to the shopping cart on a PC, no one logged in. After 8 hours(approximate),i have checked,  cart cookie is destroyed.

I want to increase the shopping cart cookies. But i don't know how to increase the shopping cart cookie.
Please help me.
