jackrabbit integration

I'm about to take a look at integrating jackrabbit into ofbiz.

Before I start, has anyone on the list performed any similar integration
tasks?

No, but yes this would be very interesting!
There have been already some discussions on the dev ML, which is BTW more appropriate for such a topic (simply look for jackrabbit,
or at large CMS)
