It seems we're getting more and more Git oriented patches from contributors. While it is convenient to stick to what has decided in the past, it looks like we're getting more misaligned with what contributors actually work with (regarding their actual work setups).
Maybe we should revisit the SVN vs Git discussion regarding the project's future.
