Hello Jacques,
To be honest the semantics of "resolved" are still fuzzy to me, for example when a ticket is marked as "resolved" JIRA propose actions to either "close" or "re-open" which suggests that "resolved" is neither "open" nor "closed". I would intuitively consider "closed" and "open" as opposite and exclusive states, and "resolved" as a substate of "closed".
I would be glad if the committer guidelines could explain or refer to a proper clarification.
