The inventory valuation report should show all inventory items (with all kinds of statuses).
So I am -1 on the first part of the changes in the patch file.
That being said, it would be an improvement when the (screen) functionality would:
* include a mechanism to filter on the status of the inventory items, so that detailed reports could be generated for follow-up actions by the business participants
* show the status per line item of the report when no specific status is filtered upon.
Regarding the second part (the change to the model) I would rather see this addressed in a separate ticket to show more visibility of the change to the model to our adopter, as this may have a severe impact on existing implementations.
