It seems to me that this ticket warrants a higher priority than currently one just above trivial. Correctly calculating the taxation is critical for parties considering to incorporate the solution in their business operations or parties already having adopted it.
IMO, we should treat this as a bug, not as an improvement, because tax calculation and the transactions resulting from that are not done in accordance to national laws and/or regulations.
I also suggest to have the solution, if it can be realised in a reasonable timeframe, to have it back ported to the branch that delivers the next release shortly thereafter.
