Since there should always be a new branch to release, the upcoming branch does not related to a specific branch (it's kinda trunk for releases). This was explained to me by [~jacopoc] who had 1st the idea :) I though agree that putting a relase version number does not make sense. I hope I'm clear this time.

https://markmail.org/message/itdzyzfv7jwdr5jj] on dev ml and OFBIZ-9356, stats related entities foreign key relation has been removed by Jacopo at r#1647271 and new group org.apache.ofbiz.stats introduced for stats related entity. I found some remnant still left in stats entities.
