Thanks, [~pritam.kute] for the suggestion to use code128. I have also done some research around code128, and it seems a good option. Code 128 includes 108 symbols: 103 data symbols, 3 start symbols, and 2 stop symbols.
Attaching patch for using code128 to generate product barcode. I have also tested it on latest trunk. Thanks!
