Pierre Smits commented on OFBIZ-10791:
--------------------------------------
As I am recently involved with an adopter that is implementing OFBiz for his rental business, I am dealing with this issue directly. And would like to see a solution established a.s.a.p. I will help as much as possible (time, and other restraints permitting).
I would say that for each of the different product types we must assessed what the effect is on the order, invoice and potentially other processes (and supporting functions/services) and/or application in other components (e.g. ecommerce/ecomseo). I suspect most are good, but we need to know for sure (maybe document?). So that we can establish a loosely define a road forward.
ASSET_USAGE may be the first case, but following may be also subject:
* ASSET_USAGE_OUT_IN
* others
