I was just able to create https://demo-stable.ofbiz.apache.org/catalog/control/EditProduct?productId=10000

The error you got is related to the "OEM Party ID". The party must exist before your create the product.

This said, with OFBIZ-9368 we have removed this field in R17, R18 (the next releases to come soon) and trunk
