IMO we should NOT reference the Gitbox repositories on the webpage.
The process for committers with Gitbox is the same as for Github, as privileges are the same. And the Gitbox<>Gitbox services of the ASF are bi-directional.
However, there is an issue with releases and branches related to r16.11. These are still on svn, and are not expected to move to git.
I am working this ticket, and expect to deliver (based on feedback here) a change no later than tomorrow.
