-----------------------------------

Hi,
I tested the patch, its  java part is working fine and give better time depending on the time zones.
But the part for setting the time zone is not completed and I need help for the best practice to implement it. See http://www.nabble.com/Users---Party-and-Timezones-tf1137497.html#a2980292 for more information on this topic from the author of the patch.
The function "weekNumber" in the UtilDateTime.java in current ofbiz returns wrong numbers in lots of cases, and i will make a patch for it.

Regards,
Bilgin

> I am starting to work with timezones. The first thing I came across is UtilDateTime's functions completely ignore timezones. I plan to create timezone versions of functions like getDayStart that will take a timezone id string or a TimeZone. I would not use any deprecated functions but do not plan to change their use in existing functions. I would appreciate suggestions.
