Yes we do understand the issue, but did we read the commit that I mentioned and try it out?

From what I can see and just tried myself, if you set the new optional attribute on the implements element to false then the behaviour that you expect will occur.  Note that the attribute defaults to false.

You could please confirm then I will close the issue.
