Hi Jacques,

sorry so long to get back to you. having the front end work was good enough for us at the time but since we will eventually want it fixed in the backend  I passed in the parent product. eventually that value will have to make it to the orderitem.parentProductId (which doesnt exist yet). I will probably get back to this later unless someone beats me to it :)

as far as the survey, setup 2 virtuals sharing some variants and assign an "ADD TO CART" survey to one of the virtuals. the survey may or may not work depending on the which virtual associate is gotten first. hence, passing the parent to the survey code also.
