At OFBIZ-5312, we are currently evaluating a new solution for URLs generation, specifically for better SEO rendering. If this works we will maybe remove CatalogUrlFilter all togheter (see also OFBIZ-4535 about that).
Using the
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/branches/OFBIZ-5312-ofbiz-ecommerce-seo-2013-10-23 branch, I have created an user named "Hà Nội" and as you can see in the attached snapshots ("2013-11-05 16 02 02.png" and "2013-11-05 16 06 48.png") it worked. Though currently, because of a bug introduced in trunk with r1534264 (and merged in the branch), we can't get into users's profiles, so we can't check all there, but from backend I believe it's ok.
For the moment we will wait before committing your contribution, and maybe we will not but use OFBIZ-5312 soltion. If you get a chance please try yourself with the branch.
