Re #1 Are you taking into account the security, I mean the possible vulnerabilities?
This need to be elaborated a bit more before it can be answered in detail.

What is meant by this question?
Re #3 How would the update of related files take place (mostly .classpath and LICENCE)?
For that reason I have created sub tasks #1 to #3.
