I disagree. Gareth has proved conclusively where the problem lies - provided test cases and patches. I have stepped through this code umpteen times. Please step through the code, it is really clear what is happening in the places I mentioned at the very beginning of this thread.
Any modification to the JS to get this to work will be a hack to workaround the fact a timezone shouldn't be being applied to a Date.
