Hi Sharad,
Agreed, OrderStatus tracks that an OrderItem was cancelled. So if we add a status flag to OISGA to allow for it to be cancelled, that would cover most requirements.
OrderStatus doesn't track the history of revisions to ship groups for an OrderItem. I think most of us most of the time don't need to know that history, so I suggest we don't worry about OISGA history until someone has a need for it.

When I met Olivier (Heintz) at the RMLL 2014 in July, I found the Neogia team has developed a such feature and had it as an addon (named oisg-management) for R12.04.
