Actually it was a clean configuration (using additivity for OFBiz the error.log) but for Freemarker. I used it for some weeks, but did not tackle Freemarker well I must say. If we drop external then all is easier and I like what's in r1633550 :)
I will backport and change the title (feel free to change it again if needed)
