Currently I don't found the reason,
The function mergeOverrideModelFormField work fine and realize a good forward of optionSource from the define dorp-down field to the initialized field from auto-field. But on the renderString function the optionSource was empty.
I'm already on Apachecon so It's difficult to investigate more, I will continue when come back to home. If adrian to resolve it before ;)
