This issue appears when you import "release" code in Eclipse / Spring Tool Suite IDE. It don't get compiled properly and IDE itself shows the error. If you add required jar, then there will be no compilation problem at all.
I've attached image for your reference.
It's very difficult to catch such issue(s) from command line IDE's there to track such issues to develop code.
