IMO, Suggested solution in OFBIZ-6166 does not look appropriate for validating CreateCustomer service IN paramaters on the basis of Configured value. We have multiple options to validate service param
- Use client side validation
- Use validation on service defination
- Validate param in service implementation
So making Require_email, require_phone etc configuarble for this service does not make sense to me.
I am fine with the configuration settings like 'Use Lower Case in username', 'Use Primary Email As UserLogin' that affect the way of service implementation flow as per business need.
