This is actually not a bug as system no where shows ATP of defective product to customer. This is because our ATP calculation service ie getProductInventoryAvailable checks the statusId of InventoryItem and it only includes statuses 'INV_AVAILABLE' or 'INV_NS_RETURNED' to calculate total ATP. So system works as expected.
So When we update the InventoryItem record for statusId="Defective(Non-Serealized)", then ATP need not to be reduced.
