I'm on Win7, but the screenshoot above comes from the trunk demo which runs:
java version "1.8.0_60"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_60-b27)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.60-b23, mixed mode)
on Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.2.0-97-generic x86_64)
As long as you are able to run OFBiz it should not be a problem. If you still have this issue check at webtools/control/SearchLabels
