Should be interesting and of modern art also to use a javascript shopcart on the client level which communicates with the ofbiz backend via json.
Commercial high level Prestashop themes contain a javascript shopcart which handles the shopcart completely at the client level and sends throufh the outcome via JSON to the backend.
