I'm running on Ubuntu 14.04LTS,
Did you goto this link:
https://localhost:8443/webtools/control/entityref?forstatic=true right! The problem is happen on the entity reference chart for static.
and you need to select one entity from the list at "Entities - Alphabetical"
Because at "Entity Packages" is work fine!
